Nagad Honored with EBL Excellence in Business Award for Digital Growth
Nagad has been recognized with the Excellence in Business Payout Award by one of Bangladesh’s leading private commercial banks, Eastern Bank Limited (EBL). The award, presented for the second time, honors 40 partner merchant organizations that have significantly contributed to the bank’s growth and digital transformation.
The recognition ceremony, “Sky’s Free: EBL Digital Excellence Awards 2025”, was held on Sunday, December 21, at a convention hall in Dhaka. Nagad received the award from EBL Managing Director and CEO Ali Reza Iftekhar, represented by Senior Partner Administrator Habibur Rahman, who is stationed at Bangladesh Bank. Also present were Partner Administrator Anwar Ullah and Nagad’s Chief Commercial Officer Mohammad Shaheen Sarwar Bhuiyan.
According to a press release dated December 22, the award underscores Nagad’s commitment to driving digital innovation and fostering strong partnerships within the financial ecosystem.
