After 15 years, Bangladesh is returning to the global e-sports arena. From 12 to 14 December, four Bangladeshi competitors will participate in the Creator Rumble: Global Finals 2025 of the World Cyber Games (WCG) in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The Bangladesh team includes Md. Saikat Islam (gaming name: Its Kabbo, Kushtia), Nayon Hossain (Apollo Gaming, Jessore), Md. Raihan (Headshot King, Narayanganj), and Md. Tanvir Ahmed (Timeburner GG, Dhaka).
On 6 December, E-Sports Bangladesh officially announced the names of the four players representing the country in the WCG 2025 Global Finals. E-Sports Bangladesh is acting as the official regional partner of WCG in Bangladesh.
Sumit Saha, founder and CEO of E-Sports Bangladesh, said, “Finally, a long-held dream has come true. After 15 years, Bangladesh is once again participating in the World Cyber Games—this is a historic achievement for our country’s gaming community. Now is the time to showcase our talent, dedication, passion, and creativity on the global stage.”
E-Sports Bangladesh hopes that this international participation will open new horizons for the youth, fostering a creator culture, developing the e-sports industry, and promoting digital talent in Bangladesh, while strengthening the country’s position on the global stage.
