PWD Launches Digital Complaint Management System for Government Building Maintenance
The Public Works Department (PWD) has launched the PWD-CMS (Complaint Management System) software to digitally receive and resolve complaints related to the repair and maintenance of government buildings.
The software was inaugurated on Monday, 1 December, at the Secretariat by Housing and Public Works Advisor Md. Adilur Rahman Khan, according to a statement from the Ministry of Housing and Public Works.
Advisor Adilur Rahman Khan stated that the launch of PWD-CMS will enhance transparency in PWD operations and improve the quality of government building maintenance work.
Housing and Public Works Secretary Md. Nazrul Islam described the software as a significant digital advancement for the PWD, noting that it will open new horizons in government building maintenance services.
Through PWD-CMS, users of government buildings can easily submit complaints online, register documents, upload attachments, and directly track the progress of repair work. The system is expected to make the complaint resolution process faster, more transparent, and accountable.
The inauguration was attended by PWD Chief Engineer Md. Khalekuzzaman Chowdhury, RAJUK Chairman Riazul Islam, and National Housing Authority Chairperson Mosammat Ferdousi Begum.
