The three-day ‘ASOCIO Digital Summit 2025’ began on Monday, November 10, in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan. The summit is being held at the Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel and will continue until November 12.
On the second day of the summit, Tuesday, November 11, winners were presented with crests and certificates at the ‘Award Night’ ceremony by ASOCIO Chairman Dr. Brian Shin and ASOCIO Lifetime Honorary Chairman and Chairman of the Award Committee, Abdullah H. The theme for this year’s summit has been set as “AI Shaping the Digital Asia.” The event has been jointly organized by the Ministry of Digital Affairs (MODA) of Taiwan, Taiwan Innovative Software & Services Association (TiSSA), and CISA Information Service Industry Association of ROC.
The Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS) has been leading the ICT sector in this region as the sole representative from Bangladesh and nominates projects each year for ASOCIO’s consideration.
ASOCIO Lifetime Honorary Chairman and Chairman of the Award Committee Abdullah H. Kafi said, “We are proud to receive international recognition for our work in the digital economy of the Asia-Oceania region. This is the result of long-term effort and innovation. This honor has strengthened our position. The core of success lies in the dedication and ethical work of skilled technologists. Technology becomes meaningful only when it improves the quality of human life. This recognition increases our responsibility to ensure faster and sustainable digital development.”
The prestigious ASOCIO award program is held across 11 categories. This year, ICT representatives from 24 member countries of ASOCIO participated and were recognized for outstanding technological excellence in their respective nations. The ASOCIO Award is regarded as one of the most distinguished recognitions in the Asia-Oceania ICT sector.
