Over the past two years, the personal videos of 16 young women have surfaced online, leading to the tragic suicides of five victims. Investigations revealed the acts were orchestrated by a coordinated criminal network that deliberately circulated the footage. What lies behind this dark digital conspiracy? These are the chilling questions explored in filmmaker Mithu Khan’s latest movie Neelchokro (Blue Circle), which premiered in theaters during Eid-ul-Azha this year and is now set to stream on the OTT platform iScreen.
The film’s title itself evokes a sense of melancholy—a blue abyss of unseen despair.
On November 1, iScreen announced the film’s upcoming release through a 47-second teaser on its official Facebook page. Neelchokro stars Arifin Shuvo and Mandira Chakraborty in the lead roles, alongside Fazlur Rahman Babu, Shirin Alam, Khaleda Akhtar Kolpona, Shahed Ali, Priyonti Urbee, and Masum Rezwan, among others.
