Apple has yet to enter the foldable smartphone market, but technology analysts claim the company may unveil its first foldable device, the “iPhone Fold,” by the end of 2026. According to the latest rumors, the tech giant is also planning to introduce several new iPhone designs in 2027 and 2028, reports GSM Arena.

Sources suggest that the iPhone Fold will feature a book-style design equipped with an LTPO+ flexible OLED display roughly the size of an iPad Mini. The device is expected to use a glass middle frame to reduce the visibility of crease marks when folded.

In 2027, Apple is reportedly preparing to launch a completely bezel-less iPhone with a curved-edge OLED panel and a new “crater diffusion layer” technology that ensures balanced brightness. The phone will also feature an under-display Face ID system and mark the 20th anniversary edition of the iPhone.

The following year, in 2028, Apple may release the “iPhone Flip,” a lightweight, clamshell-style foldable model featuring a small external display designed to show notifications, AI-powered shortcuts, and essential information.

However, all of these reports remain speculative, and Apple has yet to make any official confirmation regarding its foldable smartphone lineup.
