Stem Cell Session Showcased in Dhaka
An international scientific session on “Aesthetic and Stem Cell Therapy” was held in Dhaka, featuring for the first time in Bangladesh a live demonstration of stem cell therapy for skin and hair conducted under global standards.
The information was disclosed through a press release issued on Friday, September 5, by Impulse Hospital and Index Group. The event was jointly organized by Impulse Hospital and Index Group, with DOF Korea—an international pioneer in healthcare innovation—serving as the global partner.
The session was chaired by Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Chowdhury, Consultant Phaco Surgeon and Chairman of Bangladesh Eye Hospital and Institute.
Keynote speeches were delivered by visiting delegates from Korea: DOF’s Chief Operating Officer Sangkil Tak and Head of Global Networking Mijeyong Choi.
Shafiullah Al Munir, Chief Executive of Index Group, stated, “A new chapter of stem cell-based treatment has begun in Bangladesh. With DOF’s support, we are opening new horizons in the healthcare sector.”
He further announced that Impulse Hospital will soon launch the country’s first full-fledged stem cell therapy center, which will ensure world-class treatment at the local level for patients.
