Digital Dawn: Gazipur Digital University Welcomes New Academic Year

Classes for the 2024–25 academic session have commenced at Gazipur Digital University, with initiatives to engage students in modern curricula, technology-driven instruction, co-curricular activities, and research-oriented programs.

To welcome the new cohort, an orientation program began at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 11, at the university’s academic premises. The event was presided over by Vice-Chancellor Professor Abu Yusuf, with Treasurer Dr. Mohammad Anwar Hossain, Registrar Mohammad Ataur Rahman Khan, faculty members, administrative staff, and the newly admitted students in attendance.

During the orientation, students were briefed on the university’s academic activities, rules and regulations, and institutional overview. According to university sources, regular classes will commence as per the designated schedule following the orientation session.

Earlier, on August 9, Gazipur Digital University launched postgraduate programs for the first time. Initially, these have been introduced in two departments: Internet of Things (IoT) and Robotics Engineering, and Educational Technology and Engineering (EdTE).
