Mohammadpur Police Recover and Return 50 Lost Mobile Phones
Over the past two months, Mohammadpur Police Station under the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has successfully recovered 50 lost mobile phones and returned them to their rightful owners.
On Thursday, July 17, a handover ceremony was held at the office of the Assistant Commissioner of Mohammadpur Zone, where the recovered mobile phones were officially returned. The event was confirmed by Deputy Police Commissioner Muhammad Talebur Rahman of the DMP’s Media and Public Relations Division.
Quoting Mohammadpur Police Station, Talebur Rahman stated that, based on general diary (GD) entries filed by the phone owners, officers utilized information technology to track and retrieve the mobile devices from various parts of the country.
Several recipients became emotional upon being reunited with their lost phones. The owners expressed their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the police for their sincere efforts and dedicated service.
