In a joint operation with the police and district administration, the Bangladesh Army apprehended an online gambler from Bhujaripara in the Singroad area of Panchagarh Sadar upazila. Authorities seized 14 mobile phones, a laptop used for online gambling, and traced approximately Tk 1.2 million spread across several digital IDs.

The arrested individual has been identified as Abu Sattar (25), son of Ashraf Ali from the same locality.
