CUET Convenes 139th Syndicate Session
The 139th Syndicate meeting of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) was held on June 29 (Sunday) in the university's Syndicate Room. The session was chaired by Syndicate Chairman and CUET Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan.
Among the attendees were Professor Dr. Muhammad Rashidul Hasan, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Planning; Professor Dr. Mohammad Moshiul Hoque, Director of the Institute of Information and Communication Technology; Professor Dr. Md. Sekandar Chowdhury from the Department of Islamic History and Culture at the University of Chittagong; Professor Ilyas Uddin Ahmed, Chairman of the Chittagong Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education; Professor Dr. Sunil Dhar of the Department of Mathematics; and Professor Dr. Mohammad Mostafa Kamal of the Department of Humanities at CUET.
Several members also joined the meeting virtually, including Professor Dr. Kazi Delowar Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering; Professor Dr. Asiful Haque, Director of the Institute of River, Harbor and Environmental Science at CUET; Professor Dr. Md. Aynal Haque from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at BUET; Professor Dr. Mohammad Zahidur Rahman from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Jahangirnagar University; retired Director General (TSC) and DMD (BTBCL) Engineer Khan Ataur Rahman; and Engineer Major (Retd.) Md. Feroz Khan Noon Farazi, Director of DBL Group.
Professor Dr. Sheikh Mohammad Humayun Kabir, CUET’s Registrar (Additional Charge), served as the member secretary of the syndicate session.
