Nvidia and Taiwan-based Foxconn are reportedly in talks to deploy humanoid robots at a new AI server manufacturing plant in Houston, according to sources cited by Reuters. If implemented, it would mark Nvidia’s first product to be assembled with the help of humanoid robots, and Foxconn’s first AI server factory where such robots are utilized on the production line.

The report notes that the target is to begin deploying the robots in the first quarter of 2026. A Foxconn presentation revealed that the robots are being trained for tasks such as lifting objects, connecting wires, and assembling components.

Foxconn has announced plans to showcase two of its own humanoid robots this November—one that walks on legs and another that moves on wheels.

As part of Nvidia’s AI supercomputer manufacturing project based in Texas, both Foxconn and Wistron are establishing factories in Houston and Dallas. Industry experts suggest that this development could mark a transformative leap in robotics-based production.
