Ashiqi, which had held the number one spot for 12 consecutive days and currently has over 18.6 million views, has now moved down the list. In the second position is Horbola, which revolves around a character named Riyana who returns to the village with her father following a doctor’s advice from a rehabilitation center. She is guided around by Akbar, a local youth known for mimicking others. Riyana manipulates him into helping her swindle money from her father. Niloy and Sumona Yasmin play the lead roles, with Mir Rabbi receiving acclaim for his performance. The drama is based on a story by Abdullah Zahir and directed by Zubair Ibn Bakar.
At number four on the trending list is KhotiPuron, a drama centered on Shirin, a newcomer to a newspaper office. She falls in love with Tanvir, a man so consumed by work and ambition that he becomes detached from his family and personal life. Yash Rohan and Malaika Chowdhury play the lead roles under the direction of Mostafa Kamal Raz. The supporting cast includes Nader Chowdhury, Monira Mithu, Rashed Mamun Apu, and Sushama Sarkar.
Also trending at number five is Ghran, written by Imdad Babu and directed by Mashrikul Alam. The story follows Akash, who goes shopping for a saree for his mother but struggles to choose the right one. He ends up following a woman around the store and, with her help, finds the perfect saree. The narrative unfolds around this seemingly simple act. Ziaul Faruq Apurba plays the role of Akash. For several years, Apurba’s Eid dramas have consistently trended on YouTube. He is joined by Dilara Zaman, Shelly Ahsan, Rozi Siddiqui, and Nazneen Niha in the cast.
