Tecno Teams Up: Smartphone Brand Sponsors Bangladesh vs Singapore Match
The upcoming AFC Asian Qualifiers match between Bangladesh and Singapore will take place on June 10 at the National Stadium in Dhaka. In a significant development, global smartphone brand Tecno has partnered with the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) as the official title sponsor for the match.
Football is among the most popular sports in the country, and Tecno has pledged to continue supporting its development in Bangladesh. “This partnership is a reflection of that commitment and aligns seamlessly with the brand’s ‘Stop at Nothing’ philosophy,” Tecno stated.
Tecno's journey in global football began in 2016 through a partnership with Manchester City FC. That milestone marked the brand’s first major engagement with football fans around the world. Since then, Tecno has associated itself with various tournaments, including serving as the exclusive smartphone partner for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Côte d'Ivoire 2023.
Currently, Tecno is also an official global supporter of the AFC club competitions for the 2024–2025 season. This includes ties with the AFC Champions League Elite, AFC Champions League Two, and the AFC Women’s Champions League.
In Bangladesh, Tecno has long supported football-related initiatives. Notably, the company sponsored the BFF U-17 National Championship in 2019, where nearly 9,000 young players from across the country participated.
With the national team preparing to face Singapore, Tecno expressed its pride in standing beside Bangladesh football during this critical moment.
