Anthropic Achieves $3 Billion Annual Revenue Milestone
Artificial intelligence development company Anthropic has reportedly reached an annual revenue run rate of $3 billion, up from $1 billion in December 2024, according to two sources familiar with the matter. The report was published by Reuters.
The significant growth in revenue is primarily driven by enterprise services such as code generation. Backed by tech giants Google and Amazon, San Francisco-based Anthropic is now considered one of the fastest-growing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) companies in the world.
While OpenAI’s ChatGPT enjoys broader popularity among general consumers, Anthropic’s Claude model is gaining notable traction in the enterprise space. However, in terms of web traffic, Claude accounted for just 2% of ChatGPT’s total traffic in April.
Anthropic was valued at $61.4 billion in early 2025, whereas OpenAI currently holds an estimated valuation of around $300 billion.
