Titans Triumph in Thrilling ‘Celebrity Cricket Champions Trophy 2025’

The curtain has come down on the much-anticipated ‘Celebrity Cricket Champions Trophy 2025’, with the Gigabyte Titans emerging as the tournament champions. Featuring stars from the world of film and television, the Titans team included popular names such as Siam Ahmed, Shariful Raj, Mehazabien Chowdhury, and Moushumi Hamid. The team was mentored by filmmaker Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raj.

Among the team members, Mehazabien Chowdhury had recently begun a new chapter in her career with her role as freelancer Nadia in the series CamPET. Siam Ahmed also drew acclaim for his performance in Bangladesh's first cyber-thriller film Antarjaal.

The final match was held on Tuesday, May 13, at the Bashundhara Sports Complex, kicking off at 4:30 PM. Gigabyte Titans clinched victory by 9 wickets by 10 PM. Partha led the scoring with an unbeaten 72 runs off 56 balls, while Saiyedur Pavel sealed the win with a brisk 19 runs from 8 balls.

During the mid-innings break of the final, the poster of the upcoming film Nadan was unveiled, officially launching its promotional campaign. The film is set for release during the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha.

Earlier in the match, Swapnodhora Spartans set a target of 138 runs. Gigabyte Titans successfully chased the target on the last ball of the 15th over with nine wickets in hand, finishing the game in style with a six.

The award ceremony was graced by actress Nusrat Imrose Tisha, former national cricketer Rubel Hossain, Walton’s Deputy Chief Executive Director Shahjalal Hossain Limon, Perfect Electronics CEO Golam Shahriar Kabir, and Gigabyte Bangladesh’s Country Director Khaja Md. Anas Khan, along with a host of celebrities.

Following the first round, the Titans and the Spartans made it to the final. The two teams were mentored by Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raj and Gias Uddin Selim, respectively.

Held in T20 format, the five-day tournament featured four teams: Gigabyte Titans, Knight Riders, Jevico Kings, and Swapnodhora Spartans. Participating stars included Deepa Khandakar, Salha Khanom Nadia, Keya Payel, Tousif Mahbub, Kornia, Arefin Rumi, Irfan Sajjad, Rafsan Sabab, Sanju John, Sajjad Khan San, Tanha Tasnia, Ariana Zaman, Tasnuva Tisha, Sayra Jahan Akter, Golam Kibria Tanvir, Cynthia, Alisha, and many more. The event was broadcast live on T Sports.

The tournament officially kicked off on May 5 at the Bashundhara Sports Complex cricket stadium in Dhaka.
