Mosharraf Karim Rides Into ‘Bohemian Ghôra’ Opposite Eight Actresses

Acclaimed actor Mosharraf Karim is set to play the lead role of a truck driver named Abbas, opposite eight female co-stars in the upcoming web series Bohemian Ghôra, directed by Amitabh Reza for the OTT platform Hoichoi. His co-stars include Tanzika Amin, Runa Khan, Moushumi Hamid, Sadia Ayman, Jui Karim, Farhana Hamid, Aditi, and Brishti. Even before its release, the series has stirred excitement on social media with a circulating still image.

Speaking about his role, Mosharraf Karim said, “This is my first large-scale project with director Amitabh Reza. I joined the series because of its compelling story and character. I believe the audience will discover something entirely fresh in ‘Bohemian Ghôra’.”

Runa Khan plays one of the central characters in the series. Although she has previously appeared in multiple roles on Hoichoi, her portrayal this time is different—a bold and hot-tempered woman with unwavering confidence.

Tanzika Amin appears in a role quite the opposite of her real-life personality, while Moushumi Hamid plays the role of a female honey-hunter. Sadia Ayman portrays a lively and restless young woman. Jui Karim takes on an entirely new persona, and Farhana Hamid’s character is marked by restraint, sensitivity, and quiet depth. Meanwhile, Aditi and Brishti—both newcomers—have also been cast in significant roles.

Director Amitabh Reza Chowdhury commented, “Everyone involved in the project is dear to me. It has been a tremendous journey. Now we eagerly await the audience’s reception of Bohemian Ghôra on Hoichoi. I believe they won’t be disappointed.”

While an official release date has not been announced, the series is expected to premiere soon.
