NU Nears New Norms: Major Syllabus Overhaul Underway

In an effort to transform students into internationally competitive graduates, the National University (NU) is undergoing a major syllabus reform, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. A. S. M. Amanullah announced on Friday.

Speaking as the chief guest at the opening ceremony of the final round of the two-day Inter-College Sports Competition organized by the National University, Dr. Amanullah said, "The National University is currently undergoing a reform process. To enhance the academic quality of our students and prepare them as international-standard graduates, we are revamping the syllabus. The new curriculum will mandatorily include soft skills, hard skills, and technical education."

The event was held at the auditorium of the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP).

The inauguration ceremony was presided over by NU’s Pro-Vice Chancellor and President of the Sports Board, Professor Md. Lutfor Rahman. Distinguished guests included Brigadier General Md. Munirul Islam, Director General of BKSP, and special guests Professor Dr. Md. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the National University, and Colonel Md. Golam Mabud Hasan, Director of BKSP.

Among others, the National University's Acting Registrar Md. Aminul Akhtar also addressed the audience.
