Sixty Freelancers Receive Certification After Entrepreneurial Training from BACCO

A total of 60 freelancers have received certificates after completing entrepreneurial training in three batches. The certificates were handed over by Torfadar Sohel Rahman, Director of the Business Promotion Council (BPC), at a ceremony held in a conference hall in the capital on Sunday, March 23.

The event was presided over by Md. Tanzirul Bashar, Vice President of the Bangladesh Association of Call Center & Outsourcing (BACCO). Also in attendance were BACCO Joint Secretary General Md. Musnad-E-Ahmed; Emrajina Technologies founder Emrajina Islam; VisorX Limited CEO Faisal Mostafa; BPC Assistant Director Md. Faisal Khan; trainer Md. Monjer Hossain; and BACCO Secretariat Executive Director Lt. Col. (Retd.) Md. Mahtabul Haque, among others.

According to BACCO sources, the "Freelancer to Entrepreneur" training program was launched in 2022 with the objective of enhancing freelancers’ skills and integrating them into an institutional framework for the development of the country’s ICT sector. The initiative is supported by the Business Promotion Council under the Ministry of Commerce. Earlier this year, a batch of 20 freelancers in Chattogram successfully completed the training program. In the previous edition of the workshop, 60 participants also received certification. Since its inception in 2022, a total of 316 individuals have successfully completed the training and received certificates.
