US-Bangla Airlines to Launch Direct Flights from Dhaka to Riyadh

US-Bangla Airlines is set to commence direct flights between Dhaka and Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, starting April 21. The airline will operate five weekly flights on this route using a 436-seater Airbus A330-300.

According to Mohammad Kamrul Islam, General Manager of Public Relations at US-Bangla Airlines, ticket sales for the Dhaka-Riyadh route have already begun across all sales channels from Wednesday.

He stated, “Flights will depart from Dhaka every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at 1:35 PM and land in Riyadh at 5:10 PM local time. The return flights will take off from Riyadh at 7:15 PM and arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 4:00 AM the next day.”

The minimum one-way fare from Dhaka to Riyadh, including taxes and surcharges, has been set at BDT 54,065, while the return fare is BDT 81,998. For passengers traveling from Riyadh to Dhaka, the one-way fare starts at 846 Saudi Riyals, and the return fare is 1,458 Saudi Riyals.

With the launch of this route, US-Bangla Airlines aims to meet the long-awaited demand of expatriate Bangladeshis in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, the airline is committed to ensuring that Bangladeshi expatriates, often referred to as remittance warriors, can conveniently travel from Saudi Arabia to various domestic destinations within Bangladesh in the shortest possible time.

Currently, the US-Bangla Airlines fleet consists of 24 aircraft, including two Airbus A330-300s and nine Boeing 737-800s. In addition to domestic routes, the airline operates international flights to Jeddah, Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Doha, Malé, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, Guangzhou, Chennai, and Kolkata.
