Huawei Launches Campus Roadshow for ‘Seeds for the Future Bangladesh’
Huawei has commenced a campus roadshow across various universities in Bangladesh as part of the twelfth edition of its flagship competition, "Seeds for the Future Bangladesh." The initiative aims to enhance students' knowledge and skills in ICT while contributing to the advancement of the country's ICT sector.
As part of this initiative, recent roadshows were held at East West University, RUET, AUST, and BRAC University, with participation from over a thousand students. During these events, students were introduced to the objectives and plans of the "Seeds for the Future" program, along with guidance on preparation and the opportunities it offers. The campaign will extend to several other universities in the coming weeks.
The roadshow will continue until March this year, followed by the official launch of the program in April, when the registration process for applicants will begin. The winners of this competition will later have the opportunity to participate in the regional round held in China.
"Seeds for the Future" is an international knowledge- and skill-based competition designed for university students. Since its inception in Bangladesh in 2014, the program has gained recognition among academics and students for its role in fostering future leadership in the ICT sector. Each year, winners from various countries advance to regional and global competitions. To date, more than 15,000 students worldwide have participated in the program.
