On 27 August, Thursday, this information was shared in a press release. The agreement was recently signed by Md. Naimul Huda Sarkar, Deputy Managing Director of Midland Bank PLC, and Mohammad Faizur Rahman, CEO of the Healthcare Division at United Group, representing their respective organizations.

According to the press release, under this partnership, MDB cardholders, employees, and their dependent family members will enjoy a 30 percent discount on special healthcare packages, a 20 percent discount on all pathological tests, a 10 percent discount on diagnostic tests and other services, along with a 5 percent discount on inpatient room charges at United Medical College Hospital.

The objective of this agreement is to offer MDB cardholders and staff members priority access to quality medical and tech-integrated diagnostic services while enriching Midland Bank's value-added digital solutions.

The signing ceremony was attended by Md. Abed-Ur-Rahman, Head of Cards at Midland Bank PLC; S. M. Enamul Huq, Assistant Vice President; Abu Rayhan Al Beruni, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of United Medical College Hospital; and Ariful Haq, AGM of the Business Development Department, along with other high-ranking officials from both organizations.
