Students of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) showcased their self-built Go-Kart and Mars Rover prototypes at an exhibition held on Saturday (August 22) in the university’s Academic Council Room. Prominent entrepreneur and Director of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), Mr. Israfil Khasru, attended the exhibition as the chief guest.
During the event, students also detailed the overall progress of their ongoing Formula Car Project, which aims to compete in the prestigious Formula Student China (FSAE China) 2027 competition. Impressed by the engineering precision and ingenuity of the students, Mr. Israfil Khasru assured full support for their future endeavors. Prior to the exhibition, he held a discussion meeting with the CUET administration in the university syndicate room.
The exhibition was attended by CUET Routine Vice-Chancellor and Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Prof. Dr. Kazi Delwar Hossain; Dean of Mechanical and Manufacturing Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Mizanur Rahman; Dean of Architecture and Planning, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rashidul Hasan; and Acting Registrar Prof. Dr. Sheikh Mohammad Humayun Kabir.
Other key attendees included Deputy Director of Student Welfare Prof. Dr. Md. Abu Moazzem Hossain, Team Blitzers Advisor Dr. Afnan Hasan, Moderator Abdullah Al Rifat, alongside Team Blitzers leaders and members. The event was moderated by Rubaiyat Tasnim Simi, a student from the 22nd batch of Mechanical Engineering.
