The event began at noon on Monday at the university campus in Kaliakair, Gazipur. The initiative aimed to develop students’ creativity, leadership, collaborative skills and confidence while connecting classroom learning with practical and enjoyable experiences.

UFTB Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Moktar Ali attended the event as the chief guest. Munira Akter Lata, chairman of the EdTE Department and assistant professor, attended as the special guest. Course teacher Assistant Professor Md. Ashrafuzzaman, along with other faculty members, was also present.

The programme began with recitation from a holy scripture followed by the national anthem. Students then participated in music, group drama, dance, quizzes, various games and a range of online-based activities.

The students’ enthusiastic participation made the event lively. The activities also provided them with opportunities to demonstrate their talents while developing teamwork, responsibility, time-management and communication skills.

Addressing the programme, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Moktar Ali encouraged students to participate in creative and extracurricular activities. He said education should not be limited to acquiring knowledge from textbooks; students also need to develop through experience, creativity, collaboration and practical activities.

He said such initiatives create opportunities for students to learn through enjoyable experiences and contribute to the development of their multidimensional skills.

Course teacher Assistant Professor Md. Ashrafuzzaman said the students organized ‘Anyapath’ as part of the ET 404: Practicum: Micro-Teaching and Simulation course.

He said the students were involved in planning, managing and implementing the programme in line with the practical and experiential learning objectives of the course.

According to him, the initiative therefore served as an effective platform for students to develop practical skills.

The programme concluded successfully with active participation from teachers and students, mutual cooperation and a festive atmosphere.
