Bangladesh Announces 27-Member Team for WMI 2026 in Japan

Bangladesh has unveiled its 27-member national team for the World Mathematics Invitational (WMI) 2026, scheduled to be held in Chiba, Japan, from July 10–14 with participants from over 30 countries.

Bangladesh has announced its 27-member national team for the World Mathematics Invitational (WMI) 2026, which will be held in Chiba, Japan, from July 10 to 14. The international competition will bring together around 1,500 talented students from more than 30 countries.

Bangladesh will participate in the prestigious competition for the second consecutive time. The national team was selected from more than 5,000 registered students from Grades 2 to 11 representing educational institutions across the country. The delegation will participate under the overall management of Banglar Math.

The team members were officially announced by national team mentor Emon Hossain at a ceremony held at the auditorium of the University of Asia Pacific in Dhaka.

Banglar Math Co-founder and National Team Coach Ahmed Shahriar Shuvo, along with coaches Ashraful Al Shakur and Mahtab Hossain, were present at the announcement ceremony.
