Express Systems Limited (ESL), one of the pioneering Information and Communication Technology (ICT) solutions and service providers in Bangladesh, has achieved the highly distinguished “Cisco Partner of the Year FY25 – Bangladesh” award at the Cisco India & South Asia Partner Confluence 2026. To celebrate this milestone, ESL hosted an Award Recognition and Celebration Ceremony today (Monday) at the Lakeshore Hotel in Gulshan, Dhaka.

The ceremony brought together respected clients, technology partners, distributors, and top Cisco executives to reinforce future collaborative commitments. A major breakthrough in ESL's journey is becoming the first Bangladeshi firm to attain 'Preferred Partner' status across Cisco’s critical Networking, Security, and Collaboration portfolios. Since commencing its alliance with Cisco in 2012, ESL has successfully deployed over 1,000 strategic and mission-critical projects for more than 500 clients in government, banking, telecom, and corporate sectors. ESL boasts a pool of over 250 certified engineers, marking one of the largest assemblies of Cisco-certified talent in the country.

Speaking at the event, Abdul Fattah, Chairman of Express Systems Limited, pointed out a severe deficit of skilled tech talent in the local industry. He stated, "Long-term market experience shows a significant shortage of tech-proficient human resources in pre-sales and post-sales units. Many professionals trained by us eventually move to multinationals. Cisco must proactively step forward to develop local human resources, or else talent acquisition will become unsustainable in terms of availability and salary scales." He noted that to address this, ESL has set up a dedicated training lab (CSL classroom) capable of upskilling around 50 youths every three months.

Emphasizing the slogan 'Go Big, Go Bold', Atiqur Rahman, Country Director of Cisco Bangladesh, mentioned that ESL introduced the Cisco brand to the local market even before Cisco officially set up its physical operations in Bangladesh. He lauded partners like ESL for driving Cisco's growth and market penetration through steady loyalty.

The high-profile event was also attended by ESL Deputy Managing Director Alamgir Hossen, Channel Sales Leader for Cisco India & SAARC Partner Sales Anwar Halim, and Program Manager C.M. Mohan Ganesh, alongside top tier business and tech icons.
