Banglalink–Romoni Partnership Boosts Digital Empowerment for Women Workers

To ensure women’s digital empowerment and increase their financial inclusion, digital operator Banglalink has partnered with popular beauty service provider Romonii. Through this initiative, female workers of Romoni will be able to earn additional income beyond their core profession.

On Monday, 13 April, the operator said regarding the agreement that, under the arrangement, Romoni workers will be able to sell digital recharges using smartphones through the Banglalink Power App. Along with earning commissions from recharge sales, they will also gain digital skills and the ability to use digital tools safely.

According to sources, the Banglalink Power App is a social distribution platform where income can be earned by selling recharge without any initial cost. Users can join through a digital KYC process and track commissions and rewards in real time.

Banglalink’s Sales and Distribution Director Mohammad Mehdi Hasan said that Romonii workers are already playing an important role in their communities. “We want them to achieve further success by using digital skills. Banglalink Power will create a realistic income opportunity for them,” he added.

Romoni CEO Armin Zaman Khan said that this partnership will open new possibilities for their service providers. They will be able to expand the scope of their services and increase their income.

At the event, Banglalink was represented by Mohammad Mehdi Hasan, Md. Khaledul Hasan, and Mohammad Tahmidur Rahman. Romonii was represented by CEO Armin Zaman Khan and Nashiba Samarat.
