Swapno Extends Monthly Financial Support to Underprivileged Child
Swapno, one of the country’s leading retail establishments, has come forward to support Samia Akter, a helpless 12-year-old girl from Pohonkucha West Para of Bagmara South Union No. 2 under Lalmai Upazila in Cumilla. As part of its humanitarian assistance, the company has undertaken an initiative to provide monthly financial support of Tk 5,000 for Samia.
According to a press release issued on Tuesday, 7 April, the donation was handed over in the presence of Mohammad Lokman Hossain, Chairman of Bagmara South Union Parishad No. 2, female member Shahida Begum, local dignitaries, and officials of Swapno.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Mohammad Lokman Hossain said that standing beside the underprivileged members of society is a moral responsibility. He noted that such initiatives by Swapno would set a humanitarian example in society. The attendees expressed hope that this support would help meet Samia’s daily necessities and positively improve her overall standard of living.
