In honor of Shaheed Rudra Sen, a student of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) who was martyred during the July Mass Uprising, the university administration has announced an annual merit scholarship of BDT 10 lakh.
The Vice-Chancellor stated that a committee has been formulated to manage the scholarship fund with plans for future expansion.
SUST observed the uprising anniversary with widespread engagements including art competitions for school students, tree plantations, a colorful rally, and campus illuminations.
