For the third consecutive time, disinfectant floor and surface cleaner Lizol is carrying out a special mosque cleaning campaign during the holy month of Ramadan. Under the initiative titled “Purity in Cleanliness,” special cleaning activities have been conducted in more than 100 mosques across the country, including the capital Dhaka.

The month-long initiative was inaugurated on 19 February at the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram. Lizol’s own team, volunteers, and religious leaders are assisting in the campaign.

The Lizol authorities stated that, with long-term mosque cleanliness in mind, each mosque is being provided with a one-year supply of Lizol floor cleaning solution. In addition, each mosque is receiving a special Ramadan calendar board and a hygiene kit box for the occasion of Ramadan.

Regarding the initiative, Sabrin Maruf Tinni, Marketing Head of Reckitt Benckiser Bangladesh, the distributor of Lizol, said, “During the holy month of Ramadan, devout worshippers spend more time in mosques in prayer and devotion. A clean environment further enhances their comfort and concentration in worship. Keeping this in mind, we have joined mosque cleaning activities across the country. Our initiative to create a positive impact in society will continue in the future.”
