Islami Bank Bangladesh, a listed company on the stock exchange, will gift one motorbike per banking day (Sunday-Thursday) via a digital raffle draw to senders of cash remittances through Ria Money Transfer, the world's largest international money transfer service provider. In addition, every remittance customer will receive a complimentary gift. This offer will run from 19th February to 18th March, in celebration of Ramadan.
The Islami Bank-Ria Money Transfer Remittance Festival was inaugurated on Tuesday, 17th February, at Islami Bank Tower in Dhaka, with Managing Director of the bank, Md. Omar Faruk Khan, as the chief guest.
Dr. Emil Rouvran, Managing Director and Senior Regional Director of Ria Money Transfer for India and South Asia, attended the event as a guest of honour. Additional Managing Directors Engineer Mohammad Jamal Uddin Mazumder and Dr. M Kamal Uddin Jasim were present as special guests.
Deputy Managing Director Md. Rafiqul Islam presided over the ceremony. Also speaking was Rashedul Islam Talukdar, Country Manager of Ria Money Transfer Bangladesh. Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, Head of the Overseas Banking Division of the bank, offered a vote of thanks to the attendees.
Senior executives from the bank's head office were present at the event. All zone heads, branch managers and sub-branch in-charges were connected via a virtual platform.
