Jashore University Approves 13 New Student Clubs

Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) has approved 13 new student clubs, bringing the total number of registered and active clubs on campus to 38. The move aims to nurture students not only academically but also as skilled, humane, and principled individuals.

The approval was granted on Sunday, February 1, following a year-long review of applications, club activities, financial records, committee formation processes, and constitutions. University authorities said the initiative is designed to make co-curricular activities more dynamic and organized.

Of the newly approved clubs, seven are central clubs and six are department-based. The central clubs include:Unnoto Momoshir, JUST; Islamic Cultural Society; 
Islamic Knowledge Seeker Society; Anti-Drug Society of JUST; JUST Research Society; Probaho Literary and Cultural Organization and JUST Sports Club.

Meanwhile, the department-based clubs are: EEE Club; 
PME Club;PESS Club; JUST Microbiology Club; Nursing and Health Science Club and Finance and Banking Club.

University officials noted that the expansion of student clubs reflects a growing emphasis on holistic education, encouraging leadership, creativity, and social responsibility alongside academic excellence.
