Taskin Takes the Lead as Walton AC Brand Ambassador
Bangladesh’s global air-conditioner brand Walton has signed a partnership agreement with national team star pacer Taskin Ahmed, who will now serve as the “Face of Walton AC.” The announcement was made through a press release issued on Monday, January 19. The agreement was formally signed on January 18 at Walton’s corporate office in Bashundhara, Dhaka.
On behalf of Walton, the agreement was signed by Senior Executive Director and renowned film actor Amin Khan.
Also present at the signing ceremony were Nazrul Islam Sarkar, Additional Managing Director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC; Md. Tanvir Rahman, Chief Business Officer (CBO) of Walton AC; Senior Executive Directors Md. Firoz Alam, Abdullah-Al-Mamun, Md. Shahjalal Hossain Limon, and other senior officials.
Speaking at the event, Bangladesh national cricket team pacer Taskin Ahmed said that Walton has long been deeply associated with Bangladesh cricket. “From the very beginning of my cricketing career, I have seen Walton closely involved with the game. The Walton brand has spread not only across the country but also internationally. Seeing Walton as a sponsor during away series abroad fills me with immense pride as a Bangladeshi. I feel truly fortunate to be associated today with an institution that represents that pride. I sincerely thank the Walton authorities for including me in their journey of progress,” he said.

Beyond the local market, Walton AC continues to expand its brand presence across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. Notably, Walton’s smart inverter chillers are already being used for process cooling at Singapore’s world-renowned Mount Elizabeth Hospital and General Hospital.
