TikTok Trends 2025: What Bangladesh Searched Most
TikTok has released its list of the most searched topics in Bangladesh for 2025, offering a snapshot of what captured users’ curiosity throughout the year—from music, sports and travel to showbiz celebrities, popular TV dramas and major news events.
According to the 2025 list, Bangladeshi users are increasingly using TikTok not only for entertainment but also for everyday needs. To learn about ongoing trends, standout athletes, travel destinations or new skills, users are actively turning to TikTok search. Content created by local creators in simple, accessible language has played a key role in helping users find information quickly.
Umais Navid, South Asia Content Operations Lead at TikTok, said: “People today want quick information, tips and explanations. Whether it’s a major sports moment, choosing a travel destination for holidays, learning something new or checking reviews before buying a product, Bangladeshi users are relying on TikTok for a wide range of needs. This year’s top searches show how TikTok is connecting people with culture, community and everyday life.”
The list of searched locations in 2025 included both international destinations and familiar domestic spots. Searches for popular celebrities, TV dramas, songs and specific content also featured prominently, reflecting the landscape of Bangladesh’s pop culture.
Searches for several content tags saw notable growth during the year. Among them, searches for #TravelTok increased by 63 percent, #FoodTok by 40 percent and #BookTok by 41 percent. The biggest growth was recorded by #LearnOnTikTok, which saw a 66 percent year-on-year increase in searches.
Most Searched Topics on TikTok in Bangladesh in 2025

Among showbiz celebrities, the most searched names were Yash Rohan, Hania Aamir, Tanzia Zaman Mithila, Tasnia Farin and Shabnam Faria. The most searched musicians included Riyad Ahsan, Talwiinder, Lalon Band Sumi, Pritom Hasan and Taylor Swift.
Popular TikTok creators who drew high search interest were Nusrat Jahan Antra, Rathi Ahmed, Iftekhar Rafsan, Salman Muqtadir and Omar Always on Fire. In sports, the most searched athletes included Lamine Yamal, Zayan Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez.
The most searched destinations were Dubai, Mymensingh, Jamuna Future Park, Disneyland and Fatikchhari Mini Kashmir. Among TV shows and dramas, users searched most for Anurager Chhowa, Kusum, Kotha, Bachelor Point and Porinita.
Notable moments that attracted the highest search interest in 2025 included Ballon d’Or 2025, Miss Universe Bangladesh, the Blood Moon, the new police uniform and the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
The most searched songs of the year were Sonar Tori by Tafsir Sharan, Chand Mama (from the film Borbad) by Pritom Hasan and Dola Rahman, Gulbahar by Ishan and Shubhendu Das Shubho, Jhol by Manu and Anural Khalid, and Bulbuli by Ritu Raj and Nandita.
In addition, topics such as AI photo editing, creator search insights, Islamic videos, Mr Bean and full-step skincare routines also drew significant attention from Bangladeshi users on the platform.
