MES Annual Conference Opens at Dhaka Cantonment

The three-day annual conference of the Military Engineer Services (MES) is underway at the MES Convention Hall in Dhaka Cantonment. Senior officials from the Ministry of Defence and other ministries, along with officers from the Army, Navy, and Air Force working under MES, are attending the event both in person and via VTC.

Army Chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman inaugurated the conference on Tuesday, 8 December.

According to ISPR, the conference—chaired by Engineer-in-Chief of the Army, Major General Mohammad Hasan Uz Zaman—will continue until Thursday.

On the opening day, senior officials from the Ministry of Defence and other ministries, as well as serving officers of MES from the Army, Navy, and Air Force, joined the event physically and virtually.

Modern, secure, and sustainable infrastructure forms one of the key foundations of enhancing the country’s military capabilities. The Military Engineer Services has been fulfilling this responsibility with dedication, professionalism, and technical excellence for many years.
