BYD Hosts Bangladesh’s First Fully EV-Powered E-Camp in Bogura
BYD has organized the country’s first-ever e-camp powered entirely by an electric vehicle. The “BYD Electrifying Night,” operated using the BYD Atto 3 and its advanced Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, was held at Momo Inn in Bogura.
Owners of the BYD Atto 3, company officials, and potential buyers joined the vibrant event celebrating innovation and community. Participants enjoyed a unique night featuring barbecue, outdoor cinema, music, and a complete camping setup — all of which received uninterrupted power directly from the BYD Atto 3.
On Sunday, 30 November, BYD announced that the recently held e-camp used the company’s innovative V2L system, which enabled the Atto 3 to function as a powerful and portable energy source. Using a special adapter, high-voltage battery power from the vehicle was supplied to external devices and appliances. This practical demonstration highlighted the convenience and real-world utility of electric vehicles. Through this remarkable showcase, BYD reaffirmed its commitment to making electric mobility practical, accessible, and comfortable for users in Bangladesh.
Imtiaz Nausher, Chief Marketing Officer of BYD Bangladesh, said, “BYD Electrifying Night is more than an event; it is a strong expression of how electric vehicles integrate into our everyday life. The ability of the Atto 3 to power an entire campsite demonstrates the capability of our V2L technology. The future of mobility is here — clean, intelligent, and efficient solutions that make real life easier. BYD will continue bringing innovative solutions to build a greener and more sustainable future for Bangladesh.”
