OpenAI Seals $38 Billion Seven-Year Deal with Amazon Web Services
In a landmark move in the artificial intelligence industry, OpenAI has entered into a seven-year agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) worth nearly 38 billion dollars to power its widely popular ChatGPT service, according to a report by GSM Arena.
Under the terms of this strategic partnership, OpenAI will utilize Amazon’s robust data centers to run its advanced AI models. These facilities will be equipped with a vast number of NVIDIA processors and billions of data-processing units, ensuring faster and more secure information analysis.
OpenAI stated, “This partnership will enhance our data processing capabilities while allowing us to benefit from Amazon’s reliability, security, and performance.”
According to the agreement, all infrastructure installations are expected to be completed by the end of 2026, with provisions for further expansion beginning in 2027.
