HSC Results Released: Students to Access Scores with a Single Click
The results of this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education—Dhaka, Rajshahi, Cumilla, Jashore, Chattogram, Barishal, Sylhet, Dinajpur, and Mymensingh—as well as the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board and Bangladesh Technical Education Board, are being published simultaneously on Thursday, 16 October. Following publication, all board results will be available online with a single click.
To access results, users can visit the Education Board’s official website at www.educationboardresults.gov.bd and download institution-wise results by clicking on the “Result” tab and entering the board name along with the institution’s EIIN number. Individual examinees can also collect their results from their respective educational institutions or from the websites of their respective boards. Additionally, results can be obtained by sending an SMS to the designated short code 16222.
Students can check their results via SMS by typing the first three letters of their respective board’s name in English (for example, “DHA” for Dhaka, “RAJ” for Rajshahi, or “MAD” for Madrasah), followed by a space, the roll number, another space, and the passing year, then sending it to 16222.
According to a notification from the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, “arrangements have been made to release the results from each board at 10:00 am.” Results will be available on the websites of the education boards, all examination centers and educational institutions, as well as through SMS.
The Ministry of Education stated that a total of 1,251,111 students participated in the HSC and equivalent examinations under 11 education boards from 26 June. Of them, 618,015 were male and 633,096 were female candidates. The exams were held at 2,797 centers across the country.
Under the Dhaka Board, there were 291,241 candidates; Rajshahi had 133,242; Cumilla 101,750; Jashore 116,317; Chattogram 101,135; Barishal 61,025; Sylhet 69,683; Dinajpur 103,832; and Mymensingh 78,273.
In addition, 86,102 candidates appeared for the Alim examination under the Madrasah Board, while 109,611 students took part in the HSC (BM/BMT) examinations under the Technical Board.
