Online ticket sales for the Bangladesh vs. Hong Kong match began on Sunday, September 28. Within just one hour, all gallery and clubhouse tickets were sold out.

The AFC Asian Cup qualifying match will be held on October 9 at Dhaka’s National Stadium. Around 19,000 tickets were sold online, with gallery tickets priced at Tk 400 and clubhouse tickets at Tk 2,500. However, the sale of VIP and other categories of tickets has yet to be announced, as the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) is considering alternative sales mechanisms for those.

Golam Gaus, Chairman of the Competition Committee, told the media: “The 18,000 gallery tickets and 1,000 clubhouse tickets were sold out within an hour. This time there was no problem. Those who bought tickets received them without any hassle. Now we will decide on the sale of other categories of tickets.”

Earlier in the morning, BFF’s official Facebook page announced that Bangladesh and Hong Kong would face each other at Dhaka’s National Stadium on October 9. To facilitate fans, tickets were released online the same day through Quickest.com’s event page for the Bangladesh-Hong Kong match. Under the rules, each buyer was allowed a maximum of four tickets. Spectators wishing to attend the match in person had to pay a minimum of Tk 400 for entry.
