Nasir Uddin Khan Navigates “Naya Note” Narrative on iScreen

After a hiatus of nearly seven months, actor Nasir Uddin Khan is returning with Naya Note on Channel i’s OTT platform, iScreen. The first-look poster of the web film was released on August 26. While iScreen has already confirmed the release of the project on its platform, the exact premiere date is yet to be announced.

In the poster, Nasir Uddin appears with disheveled hair and beard, wearing a panjabi, with a faint smile at the corner of his lips, gazing intently at a 50-taka banknote. Sharing the poster on Facebook, the director wrote, “In this world, everyone begs from someone. Some for five taka, others for crores.”

Meanwhile, iScreen’s Facebook page captioned the same poster with, “A new note in hand, a smile on the face. What mystery will Nasir Uddin Khan unravel?”

In recent years, Nasir Uddin Khan has made a strong presence across films, OTT productions, and even advertisements. However, this year he has so far appeared in only one film and one web series. His last web content, Myself Allen Swapon-2, was released in March.

Breaking his pause, Khan is now set to appear in a new project directed by Ononno Pratik Chowdhury, who makes his directorial debut with Naya Note. Pratik, son of the filmmaker duo Arun Chowdhury and Chayanika Chowdhury, has prior experience working as an assistant director despite Naya Note being his first project as a director.
