Advancing Aesthetic Aspirations: Global Dermatology Experts Convene in Dhaka
For the third time, Dhaka hosted the prestigious international conference on Aesthetic Dermatology, aimed at integrating innovation, global knowledge, and modern technology to bring advanced beauty care to the doorsteps of the people. Organized by the Aesthetic Dermatology Society of Bangladesh (ADSB), the two-day event sought to promote innovation and expansion in the aesthetic dermatology sector and empower practitioners with global insights.
Held at a five-star hotel in the capital under the theme “Ascending to New Heights,” the conference welcomed over 300 internationally acclaimed dermatologists from ten countries, including Bangladesh, Thailand, Pakistan, Nepal, the Philippines, the United Kingdom, India, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Australia.
On July 26, the event featured workshops, scientific sessions, and seminars, while the highlight of the second day, July 27, was the official inauguration of the Aesthetic Dermatology Conference. The inaugural ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Dr. A. Z. M. Maidul Islam, with Dr. Nazmul Hossain and Dr. Md. Abu Zafar attending as Special Guests.
Key figures present at the event included ADSB General Secretary Dr. Jahanara Ferdous Khan Jumu, Organizing Secretary Dr. Matiur Rahman Chowdhury, Organizing President Dr. Imroz Mohit, and Chief Patron Dr. M. U. Kabir Chowdhury.
The sessions covered a range of critical topics in aesthetic dermatology, including Innovation, Challenges, and the Future of Aesthetic Dermatology, Precision Toxin: The Art and Science, Combination Therapy, Threads, and Complication Management, Mastering Aesthetics, Pigmentation, Sexual Medicine, Aesthetic Devices (Laser and Beyond), Hair Restoration Science, Surgery and Solutions, and Industrial Sessions.
Leading Bangladeshi skincare brand Seodil was the platinum sponsor of the event and attracted considerable attention with its innovative product showcase. Dermatologists from countries such as Vietnam, Myanmar, Pakistan, Thailand, and India visited the Seodil booth and praised its innovations.
