C Gives Glimpse of Pixel 10 Before Official Launch

Google has offered an early preview of its upcoming Pixel 10 smartphone through a video ahead of its official unveiling. Although the announcement is scheduled for August 20, a glimpse of the device has already appeared on the homepage of the Google Store, according to a report by Engadget.

The model featured in the video is believed to be the standard Pixel 10, though it may also be the Pixel 10 Pro. The design shows a slightly revised back panel, giving the impression that the phone is peeking through the frame. Notably, there appears to be an additional camera lens. While last year’s Pixel 9 included a telephoto lens only in the Pro variant, this time it is likely that all models will feature it.

With the upcoming release, Google is placing more emphasis on technical advancements, particularly the inclusion of a new Tensor chip. Following several years of premature leaks around Pixel devices, the company has seemingly embraced the strategy of controlled pre-release previews. In 2022, the Pixel 7 was similarly revealed well before its official launch.
