Galaxy A06 Gains Ground: Samsung’s Entry-Level Marvel Sees Surging Demand in Bangladesh

About ten days ago, Samsung unveiled its new Galaxy A06 smartphone in the Bangladeshi market, marking the beginning of its pre-order phase. Since then, the South Korean tech giant has reported what it calls an “unbelievable” response from customers, according to Samsung Bangladesh.

Following its official debut, the device has swiftly gained popularity among smartphone enthusiasts. Reports suggest that the initial batch, manufactured locally in Bangladesh, has already seen overwhelming demand—prompting Samsung to announce the arrival of new variants of the same model.

However, the company has not disclosed any specific figures regarding the volume of pre-orders or sales. Samsung Bangladesh has confirmed that by mid-May, two new variants of the Galaxy A06—4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB—will be restocked in the market.

Commenting on the launch and the consumer response, Syed Md. Badrul Arifeen, Head of Product and Marcom, MX Division, Samsung Electronics Bangladesh, said: “More people today are using advanced technology to enhance their lifestyle. That’s why we have integrated features into our latest smartphone that are designed to enrich our customers’ lives. We are truly excited by the tremendous response and the success of our efforts.”

The Galaxy A06 features a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery supporting 25W fast charging. The device also offers four years of security updates and two generations of OS upgrades. Camera specifications include a 50MP primary sensor, 8MP front camera, and a 2MP depth sensor, with the ability to record 1080p video at 60fps.
