Summit Slashes Internet and NTTN Prices to Support Affordable Access

Summit Communications, a major Nationwide Telecommunication Transmission Network (NTTN) provider, has announced a reduction in internet and transmission costs across various levels. According to the announcement, internet prices for International Internet Gateway (IIG) companies will be reduced by 10%, while NTTN prices will see a reduction between 15% and 20%.
Arif Al Islam, CEO of Summit Communications, stated, “We sincerely thank and congratulate the Prime Minister’s Adviser on ICT Affairs, Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb, for his visionary initiative to make high-quality internet affordable and accessible to the general public. We also commend the decision of the ISP industry to offer 10 Mbps internet speed for BDT 500.”
He further added, “In support of this government initiative and to assist ISP providers in offering quality internet at affordable rates, the Summit Communications management committee is making this announcement.”
The company also noted its significant efforts in building a nationwide internet infrastructure. Summit Communications has maintained service availability of more than 99.95% at most of its network service points across the country.
In addition, Summit Communications and its partners are scheduled to establish a private submarine cable in the first quarter of 2026, further enhancing connectivity and digital infrastructure.
