Infinix Illuminates Dhaka: Note 50 Series Set for Local Launch This Week

Though the global unveiling has already taken place, Infinix is set to officially introduce its Note 50 series to the Bangladeshi market this week. However, even before the official release, the smartphone brand lit up Tejgaon’s Aloki on Sunday evening with a silver-themed pre-launch event, attended by YouTubers, TikTokers, influencers, business partners, and technology journalists.

The entrance to the venue was wrapped in shimmering silver cellophane, while the interior exuded a vibrant silver ambiance enhanced by dramatic lighting. Alongside the various versions of the new smartphone, the display also featured the brand’s tablets, earbuds, and other essential peripherals. Guests were invited to explore the phones in the post-launch product experience zone, where they interacted with the devices, captured photos, watched videos, and scrutinized specifications. Many also compared the phones with rival brands, created social media reels, and went live on various platforms.

While a mobile fashion show featuring ramp models drew some attention, the AI zone became the evening’s true highlight. Visitors engaged in dynamic exchanges with an artificial intelligence assistant, receiving both informative and entertaining responses. The entire event stood out for its blend of technology, style, and visual storytelling. The ambiance was thoughtfully designed around the aesthetics, vibrant display, and advanced AI features of the Note 50 series.

Upon casual use, the device revealed a wide display and camera layout, with symmetrical bezels and chin. The phone is powered by MediaTek’s G100 chipset. Infinix has incorporated its proprietary smart voice assistant “Folax,” powered by deepseek AI. Although the live call translation feature is present, it does not yet support Bangla. Other AI-powered features include writing assistance, photo editing, video summarization, and object removal from images.

The phone’s triple-camera setup features a 50MP primary sensor with OIS. Below the camera lens lies a unique bio-active Halo AI lighting system that can read a user's heartbeat. However, the phone lacks robust drop resistance and, with only IP64 water resistance, may not fare well in heavy rain.

Infinix Bangladesh’s mangfacrure partner company Transsion BD Head Mr. Daniel; Infinix Bangladesh’s Country Director Mr. Jack, Sales National Manager Mr. Alex , National MKT Manager: Mr. Lynn, Brand Manager: Iftekhar Sunny, and media personality Ashraf Kaiser, were present at the event among others. The company emphasized that its goal is to make flagship-level technology more accessible. “From design to performance, the Note 50 series promises something new for the users,” the organizers shared.

The price of the Infinix Note 50 starts at BDT 27,999.
