125 digital marketing initiatives awarded
Bangladesh Brand Forum has awarded Digital Marketing Award to 125 renowned enterprises of the country. The initiative of the organizations was honored through a grand ceremony held at La Meridian Hotel in the capital on Saturday, September 18.
The English daily The Business Standard co-sponsored the award, sponsored by Meghna Group of Industries.
Representatives of more than 500 digital marketing enterprises from across the country were present at the closing ceremony of the event, which was held for the fifth time.
Extensive preparations were made to select the participants for the final round of the Digital Marketing Awards. Participants were given the opportunity to participate in the initiatives of organizations that have contributed in various fields of digital marketing. This year, more than one thousand preliminary applications have been submitted. From there, 474 digital marketing initiatives were selected by 9 jury boards. From there, 125 marketing initiatives were finally selected after a nine-step scrutiny.
This year's Digital Marketing Award-winning 125 enterprises were selected in four different stages in 18 different categories. Of these, 15 marketing initiatives were awarded gold, 46 silver and 64 bronze medals.
In her welcome speech at the Digital Marketing Awards, Mrs. Nazia Andalib Prima, Director, Brand Forum, Bangladesh, said, “In this age of dual existence of digital and physical infrastructure, we need to make human emotions more active. Digital innovation and opportunities need to unveil the next era and possibilities. Therefore, it is important to take integrated initiatives with strategies.
The 8th Digital Summit was held before the 5th Digital Marketing Awards 2020-21 took place. This summit was first started in 2014 at the initiative of Bangladesh Brand Forum. Which is the highest platform for digital marketers in the country. More than 400 professionals participated in this year's Digital Summit.
The summit was held under the slogan 'Future Proofing Digital Strategy'. The aim was to spread the word about advanced acquisition methods and intelligent marketing. So that in a growing market they can prove the changing strategies of the future.
The Digital Summit had 6 keynote sessions. It consists of 4 panel discussions, 3 insight sessions and 2 case studies. Experts from different parts of the world took part in these sessions and discussions.
