The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has issued an official order to expand its regulatory services across the country. Under the guidelines of the Posts and Telecommunications Division, the initiative aims to streamline One Stop Service (OSS) operations, document reception, monitoring, and field-level Quality of Service (QoS) assessments while assisting small and emerging telecom entrepreneurs.

To reinforce routine operations across its spectrum monitoring stations, BTRC has attached three Deputy Directors to key regional stations until further notice. The office order was officially issued on October 14, 2026, under the signature of Senior Assistant Director (Human Resource Development) Shanto Kumar Dash.

According to the order, Md. Zakir Hossain Khan, Deputy Director of the Spectrum Division, has been attached to the Rangpur Monitoring Station in Rangpur. Md. Asif Waheed, Deputy Director of the Spectrum Division, has been posted to the Sylhet Monitoring Station in Sylhet. Additionally, Deputy Director Md. Ashfaq Ahmed from the same division has been assigned to the Khulna Monitoring Station in Khulna.

The order instructs the designated officials to join their assigned monitoring stations immediately. Issued with formal approval from the competent authority, the order takes immediate effect.
