BOYA Notra, an all-around AI voice recorder designed to record conversations and automatically turn them into structured notes, has entered the Bangladesh market. The device is designed for meetings, phone calls, interviews and lectures, with features that can generate summaries, to-do lists and mind maps from recorded conversations.

The AI note-taking device is being made available in Bangladesh through Global Brand PLC, one of the country’s major IT distributors.

BOYA Notra supports three recording modes: ambience, phone calls and Bluetooth. The device uses two MEMS microphones and a VPU sensor to capture audio from distances of up to 10 metres, according to the product information.

It also features AI-powered noise cancellation. The technology can reduce background noise by up to 30 decibels, helping produce clearer recordings in environments with surrounding sound.

AI-based audio processing is one of the device’s key features. BOYA Notra can convert recorded audio into text in more than 140 languages. It can also automatically generate meeting summaries, to-do lists and mind maps from recorded conversations.

The device supports speaker identification and allows users to ask questions to its AI system based on recorded information. More than 60 templates are also available for organizing and processing meeting content, helping users extract important information from lengthy discussions more efficiently.

For storage, BOYA Notra comes with 64GB of local storage and unlimited cloud storage. It can record up to 115 hours of calls. Users can export recorded and processed content in multiple formats, including MP3, WAV, TXT, DOCX, PDF, Markdown and JPEG.

Weighing only 45 grams, the device features a magnetic and ultra-portable design. It can be attached to smartphones, laptops and whiteboards. The package also includes a magnetic ring for non-MagSafe devices, while the device is compatible with MagSafe-supported products.

The recorder offers up to 24 hours of recording on a single charge and up to 365 days of standby time, according to the distributor. It uses USB-C for charging.

For data protection, BOYA Notra supports AES-256 encryption and TLS 1.3 security. These features are designed to provide additional protection for recorded conversations and AI-generated notes.

BOYA Notra is priced at Tk 15,900 in Bangladesh. The device is available through Global Brand PLC with a one-year brand warranty.
