Global technology brand Xiaomi secured the 232nd position in the 2026 Fortune Global 500 list following the release of its flagship 3-nanometer Xring 01 system-on-chip.
Announcing the achievement from Dhaka on Tuesday (August 18, 2026), the company highlighted its breakthroughs in semiconductor engineering and AI ecosystem expansion. Xiaomi first debuted on the list at 468th in 2019 before climbing to 297th position in 2025.
The hardware manufacturer leads the consumer AIoT market with over 1 billion connected devices, powered by enhanced HyperOS capabilities. Expanding its intelligent mobility portfolio alongside the Xiaomi SU7 and YU7, the company introduced the SkyNomad electric vehicle featuring an adaptable living space cabin. Additionally, the Redmi Note lineup surpassed 500 million global sales over 12 years, extending the brand's 'Human × Car × Home' ecosystem to over 100 markets worldwide.
Country General Manager of Xiaomi Bangladesh Ziauddin Chowdhury stated that continuous technological investments fueled this rapid ranking advancement. He reaffirmed Xiaomi's commitment to strengthening its interconnected ecosystem across smartphones, AI, and smart mobility solutions globally.
