IT leadership conference, secure network infrastructure, Ruijie router technology demonstration
The ‘IT Leader Conference 2026’ was held in Dhaka with the participation of technology professionals, experts and entrepreneurs from across Bangladesh’s information technology sector.
Organised by the Bangladesh IT Professional Friends Club (BITPFC), the conference was held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at a hotel in Banani, Dhaka.
The conference was organised in collaboration with international networking brand Ruijie and Reyee. Senior IT leaders, chief information officers, chief technology officers, ISP entrepreneurs, networking professionals, cybersecurity specialists and other stakeholders from the technology sector attended the event.
The discussions focused on the current state of the IT sector, digital transformation, secure network infrastructure, cybersecurity management, technological innovation, and emerging technology challenges and opportunities. Participants also shared professional experiences and future plans related to technology management.
A key attraction of the conference was a technical demonstration of Ruijie routers by Global Brand PLC. The demonstration showcased the routers’ capabilities in building reliable network infrastructure for modern business and corporate environments, along with advanced network management and high-quality uninterrupted service capabilities.
The technical demonstration drew considerable interest from the participating technology professionals.
Representing BITPFC at the conference were its founder and president Saleh Mobin, vice-president Md. Arif, partnership affairs secretary Sohel Sikder, events and programmes secretary Iqbal Hossain, and membership affairs secretary Ismail Hossain Sujon.
Executive members Kazi Shamsul Arefin, Mohammad Saidur Rahman, Md. Ziaur Rahman, Sharmin Khan Urmi, Samiul Haque Sumon, Md. Ejazul Islam and Md. Shaidul Islam were also present.
Representing Global Brand PLC were Ruijie Networks Bangladesh country manager Carl, regional post-sales engineer Mohammad Sazzad Hossain Akash, Global Brand PLC business development manager Tanvir Hasan, and Ruijie product manager Md. Hazrat Ali.
The organisers said the main objective of the conference was to strengthen professional networking, facilitate knowledge and experience sharing, and create opportunities for effective collaboration among technology professionals.
They also said such knowledge-sharing and networking initiatives would continue in the future to enhance the skills and capabilities of technology professionals in Bangladesh.
The conference concluded with a commitment to further advance the country’s technology sector through networking, knowledge sharing and collaboration.
